Higher Education

I attended Cortez High School, where I played football, wrestled, and perplexed the art teachers with my strange drawings. Manhattan Christian College was the first of many colleges I've attended. I took mainly general studies courses there while singing in choirs and a men's quartet, writing of capucinus defenestrations, and trying to decide what to do with my life.

Next was Glendale Community College, where I took mostly studio art classes and created large Spam cans. After that, I attended Arizona State University, where I further developed my semi-organic surrealistic landscape series and eventually received a BFA in Fine Art, majoring in Drawing.

After working for a few years, I decided to enhance my computer knowledge by attending Al Collins Graphic Design School. While there, I indulged my fascination with lizards and received two AA degrees — one in Advertising Design, and another in Visual Communications; fancy titles for graphic art and computer graphics respectively.
